PrimaryIO
PrimaryIO is a start-up based in Silicon Valley that develops software solutions to dramatically increase application performance in the most cost effective and least disruptive way. When I took this project, primaryIO was looking for a intutive and informative landing page.
primaryIO had an existing website. The client knew that their landing page is so general and it is not giving sufficient information to the user. However,both the client and myself agreed that my role involved making major usability tweaks in the website.
User Research
In addition to client's requirements, I put up a (yes or no) survey to know about the tech website users, who use website to download or purchase products and what they expect to see and what is more important to them.

Based on the survey findings, I decided to do a paper prototype and iterated the designs with the client.

Below, I took my paper protoype and added visual detail and color before proceeding to code.

Reflections
The new landing page got released in 2017 and got good feedback from the client that the landing page delivers the prompt message and lead many users to try the free trail that PrimaryIO offered.
